Both Leon and his full-scale operation at Matthias Arabians have been featured in numerous publications including Arabian Times. They have been recognized throughout the Arabian community for their quality and merit in barn management.

The only thing that rivals Leon's love and dedication to his Arabians is his love and dedication to his family. His pride and joy is his grandson, Landon Matthias, who at three-years-old, happily proclaimed to the family, "I wanna show!" Nothing makes Leon happier than spending time with his family, which includes the entire crew at Matthias Arabians.
